TS is a discord based RP server that focuses on Semi-Literate to Literate Roleplaying experience. We provide RP assistance by both admins and Bots for more in-depth Roleplay.

On the far shores of Ulfheim lies a territory whose lands border The Sound. This territory has had many names over the centuries as villages and clans have lived within its lands.That's until one clan began its plague over the lands and took those who may surrender under their power and merged them, creating what they now call Svell.Svell is your clan and now the home you may shape for years to come.What would you do?

This should, in fact, be a thing that you already follow, but if you do not, here is what I would imagine someone who did follow that motto would understand what to do & what not to do:• No Bullying/Picking on Other Members

Basic Rules

1. Here in TS, we encourage you to talk to others! You can join in with a friend, but please try and reach out to others so you don't stay in one group. You’ll have a lot more fun expanding your horizons and meeting new people!1. Note the group or use the questions channel in the Discord for any questions or concerns.2. If the issue is private, you may message or note an admin.3. Please remember this is a Group RP. How you feel about a person’s character should not reflect on how you act or feel about that person. The character and their beliefs do not reflect those of the people themselves.4. There will be a Rant/Vent NSFW channel added, this does NOT mean that there can or will be posting of inappropriate images/videos/memes, of ANY kind - this is a warriors cat server, so that of course should describe that we won’t be having that.5. Swearing IS allowed, so long as your vocabulary use is not that of a pea and you drop the F-bomb constantly. Racial/Sexuality Slurs, such as being meant to belittle anyone who is of certain races/sexualities, will NOT be tolerated, and you will be kicked for using them.6. Art used in submissions of characters that is NOT your art MUST be credited to the original artist. We don’t mind if you use the character/use art as examples, but please, please, please don’t steal art.


Roleplay Rules

1. You are allowed one character as a beginner, chosen will be randomly selected and not requested to provide a fun experience. Your next character will be after you’ve collected enough Silver Coinage.2. Please do not godmod/overpower/power play/auto dodge - we want diverse characters and fun.3. We know it’s hard to type giant paragraphs, so the minimum for replies is 4 sentences; you may add more, but please don’t post a book's worth of a reply.4. The Aging System:
The aging system here will be 1 moon per Month. We know not everyone will be able to reply constantly, so your cat will take a bit longer to age.
Since there are no other clans/conditions that are limiting their life, these cats are able to live 8-13 years of age before passing, so they can be as old as 156 Moons+ as elders.- Wise ones are no younger than 100 Moons ( at least 8+ years of age to be an elder )
- War Mother/Father and War Brothers/Sisters must be at least 20 moons old
- chosen/hearth should be no younger than 13 Moons
-Seers and Spiritualists should be at least no younger than 13 moons old.
- Neophyte should be no younger than 6 Moons and no older than 12 Moons
- Cubs can be anywhere between 0-6 moons. If they are younger and still on the milk, they must have a mother character being RPed.


Activity Checks

1. An activity check will be done every month.2. Each character must have at least 2 replies a month in order to be considered active. If you have more than 5 oc's, then your activity is dropped down to 1 reply for each oc per month.3. If unable to meet an activity check, please note the group at least a week prior to the deadline.4. In order to retire a character, an art or word piece explaining their exit must be made.5. Leaving the Group: If planning to leave the group, the admins must be notified at least three days prior. Notify the admins of whether the character will be killed off or declared missing. A missing cat may return to the group, but any cat that is killed may not return!6. Oc limit is 10 characters, please only bring oc's you know you will use and do not over exert yourself.


Battle Guide

List of how battles are played out in DnD fashion.


Dice rolls for battle.

Our fighting guide is simple and easy to use. We use a D20 Dice for any battle-like event. Any number you roll from 1-20 is the amount of attack you deal to the enemy.For example.
Ledimir rolled an 8/20. He deals -8 damage to the boss, He has yet to use any skill abilities, so he also rolls for that. Doing so he rolls a D10, and gets a 2/10 this extra roll will be add to the first roll which it went from -8 to -10 damage to the boos.
Skills can only be used every 2 rounds. The roll for skills is a D10, and whatever you roll can be added to your base attack of D20 or could be used for whatever else your skill can do, such as healing.For example.
Ledimir rolled a D20 and got 15/20. He then used his level 1 skill, healing aura, and rolled a D10 and got 5/10 and healed himself or another player 5 points. Seers/Spiritualists are the only cats who can use healing skills that affect the party as a whole ( 5/10 they healed the whole party by 5 points)


Chosen skills and Hearth's Companion aide

Skills can be made to however you would like them to be, but please keep them within reasonable limits. Please, no op Abilities.Cats and companions can make it up to 5 levels of Skill. These can be used during battle, the dice for this is a D10, and whatever you roll will be added to your base roll or on its own, in case the skill doesn't match what the base roll is used for.Example
Ledimir uses a level 1 ice spear and rolls 10/10
Level 1: ice spear = +10 hit damage to the boss.
orFeather companion used Level 1 swooping talons and rolls 4/10
Level 1 Swooping Talons = +4 hit damage to boss.
You can choose if your Skill deals damage, health, resistance, or durability. This will allow all players to make their own ability sheets and make their oc unique. To level up these skills, you must go through training challenges, which will be set up by an admin, and it's up to you if you succeed in this challenge or fail. (You may re-try anytime)Skills can only be used every 2 rounds! To make sure a skill roll sticks, you must roll for success. The dice roll for this is D100, 49 and below is failure, and 50 and above is success., its a game of chance, but so is this life our heroes live in.


0 health

If your health hits 0, your cat will be incapacitated and will no longer be able to battle. Your cat will be out of the battle and can be played once the battle has ended or if a cat used a potion/Skill to bring you back from death's door.


Potion tactic's

Potions can be used during your rounds, but cannot be used at the same time you're using your skills, this is to avoid overcombination of stats during battle and to avoid dice-roll chat congestion.Certain potions have different duration times, and we only allow one potion per turn. Please make sure to look in Potion shops for details of your potion and its limits.

The Sound’s cat breed list is not a large one: many of our cats must be big breeds with long fur or at least double-coated. These cats live out in the arctic ice and snow is a common sight for these cats, and they must be built to survive this everyday weather.LIST

Feather companions

Feather companions are birds hatched at birth by it's caretaker. For a Hearth to own a Feather companion, they have to have already completed their rite of passage trials.Hearth cats who have completed their rite of passage will be given a task to climb any chosen mountain and claim an egg from any of the birds' nests that hang from tall trees or from cliff sides.It is traditional to leave at least one egg in the nest so as not to upset the balance of nature. If you can return home with the egg safe, you may keep the bird and raise it as your own. If the egg shatters before your return home, then you must wait till next spring to try and claim an egg.Raising a Feather companion is the pride of a Hearth, their bird friend is like family. Each Hearth will sing a unique tune to its egg while it waits to be hatched to create a deeper bond. Feather companions are used for hunting, battle, and recovery operations.

Svell was once a prosperous and peaceful clan that prided themselves on their loyalty and dignity. After the fall of this beloved clan, we are striving to rebuild this once glorious clan to what it used to be.With new cats taking on the burden of leading the clan into a new world, we will experience hardships and new truths, but at least we will experience it together as one.


Traits

  • Large bodies - Generations have grown more adapted to the cold-like climate and evolved to be able to catch larger prey.

  • Bravery - Death is not a fear most cats know: they find honor and glory in battle and will do what must be done to protect their family and homeland.

  • Dignity - May it be the heights or to the lowest rank, these cats hold their heads high and respect one another as alone they are nothing, but together they can achieve greatness.

  • Thick fur - These cats have adapted to cold climates, which means fur is typically medium or long in length, and they have a second undercoat to protect their skin.

Laws

  • The War Mother/Father word is law; those who do not obey will be punished.

  • Barren, Cubs, and Wise ones must be fed first before all else.

  • Moom High is forbidden unless permission is given by War Mother/Father.

  • A challenge to the throne must be accepted by both parties and must be dealt with honorably; cheating is forfeit and can be a punishable offense no matter the rank.

  • Neophytes must not travel past the training grounds without an adult! Failure to listen will result in a week of cleaning duties. (in which a Neophyte can fall behind in studies/Training)

  • To flee a battle is considered a disgraceful act upon your home and your fellow cats; this act can be met with a cat's rank being stripped or being shunned by the village.

  • To injure a Seer or Spiritualist is unforgivable and will result in imprisonment.

  • Entering the deeper chambers of The Heart is FORBIDDEN unless given permission by the spiritualist or War Mother/Father.

A kit's tale as old as time that has been passed down for generations


The tale of Ledimir and Fárbauti

Long ago before our own, lived throughout the land of what many villagers call gods, some of whom would claim that those without powers could become gods themselves.This land was very much different from our own today, there were different seasons all year round called spring, autumn, summer and what we have all come to grow up to as winter.This land was filled with life and brimming with essences of all kinds, it was what the tales of old would say that brought out the reason they could use odd powers. In this time, many cats came from different parts of the land and had very different abilities. Fire and ice, light and darkness, and some could move the mountains while others could make objects move on will. This world is very much different from our own and wasn’t a peace. A dark essence would linger over the land. It would start to infect its animals, creating beings that were twisted and unlike what they had once been.Cats from all over would come together to fight away the darkness that consumed their lands, it was becoming such a normal thing for the cats to step up and venture off to slay the beast while others chose to live in what peace they had thanks to the hero’s protection and watchful eye. As these heroes conquered and adventured around, they soon would find the source of all the evil that had taken over their lands. Some would speak of a cat who was cast out of Vallhallah to live on their own, this cat would hold such resentment and anger they would curse the land as they fell from the high place above. What was left of them was the hatred that would infect the world the villagers lived in.Our story would take us to a pair of friends who were more like brothers than any blood could bond. Their story is what changed the world as we knew it and made us who we are today. This tale isn’t what ends in happiness, it would end in such a twist of cruel fate.We start with a boy named Ledimir, born in a village with rowing field of green and gold, fortunate enough to come from a loving family. Ledimir was a peculiar cub, one of which would light the worlds to many cats' lives, he was curious and kind and one with a dream for more than what life could give. He was one to be found in the forest climbing the trees to see the land far from his own, waiting for the day he too can become an adventurer, just like his father would. The day when he could save the lives of others like the heroes in a story book.Then there was Fárbauti, a sickly child who lived in a village up in the mountains, who would never come to meet the parents that birthed him. They had died far before he could take his first steps, his grandparents stepping up in place to give him the life they could best manage, giving him the shelter and care he needed as he grew. Fárbauti was a quiet, timid cup who would shrink into the surrounding shadows. He was one to trip over his words and avoid the gaze of others, always preferring to be at home doing the chores for his elderly grandparents. But at night you can find him gazing into the starry night skies dreaming of the lands far away as he laid beside the sheep in their hay like beds.Ledimir’s family was never one to stay still for long, finding joy in traveling from village to village offering work as a mercenary and farmworker. The work that they did was honest, and it gave Ledimir the ability to meet all kinds of cats from all kinds of places. The day the two had met was the day that started it all, the two would become unlikely friends during ledimir’s visit to Fárbauti’s village and from that day onwards they were inseparable. Cats would often see the two getting into all kinds of mischief, with Ledimir at the lead and Fárbauti trailing behind apologetically for their misadventures, but they were happy and watching the two bring out the best in each other was what brought a smile to the small village.As time passed on, Ledimir and his family had decided to stay in this small village upon the mountains and call it home. They couldn’t bear to break up the duo and had made many friends in the village.As the two grew there bond became more and more stronger than before, From cubs to young adults it was almost as if the world would be there's to claim and there dreams a reality. Fárbauti never dreamed of becoming an adventurer but he soon accepted Ledimir's dreams as his own, With age Fárbauti's sickness seemed to weaken by the day till eventually he was declare free of his once binding chains. With that new found freedom the two would set out to explore and conquer this world.As they journey they had faced many foes, met many people, made connections and eventually found like minded cats to aide them on their journey, there once small dream was beginning to grow and spread to others. A force of just two became a force of six.Ledimir At the lead with the ability to create anything out of natural minerals.Fárbauti As his right hand cat with the ability to mimic voices of others and animals.Vinri A silent and the tank of the group, her ability was to conjure up shards of ice.HallSteinn A couple years older but he was known as the Archer, his ability was to bring fire to the world.Eyvindr A bookworm at heart and was the healer of the group, she could make poison's good and bad.Ragnarr Energetic and feisty she was know to scout ahead for the group, her ability was lighting.As there names began to spread all thought the land there popularity rouse as well, all was happy well all expect Fárbauti he felt lost...
The young cat was happy to see his friend shine but it felt as if he was falling behind the others behind Ledimir, overtime the cat became distant becoming entangled with books and studying for something. Overtime it was like he faded as if he didn't exist to the group and to the people but Ledimir did not forget his friend and would always try to bring him into a conversation or to get into fun trouble like old times, but sadly Fárbauti would decline and promise another day.
So they continued there journey with Fárbauti desperately looking for some kind of answer to his problem, how could he be as strong as Ledimir how can he even compare to him in this weak like power? then a thought occurred to him, if he wasn't to be as powerful as Ledimir or even grater, there was only one thing that granted him such a wish.why not take the dark essence as his own? all that power in one place who says you can't take it? so-

✦ 68 moons ago - Annika had retired from being the War mother at the age of 100 moons, her son Bodin was her appointed successor and has taken the mantle of War father at 24 moons.✦ 67 moons ago- Bodin would appoint Alfvin, Edda, Hrefn, and Otto as his war brothers and sisters.✦ 62 moons ago- Svell is begging to store up food and herbs for Polaris, Bodin along with his war sisters and brothers begin helping out by managing goods and chores to ease the stress being caused.✦ 60 moons ago - Strong wins would loosen the snow on the mountains, causing an avalanche to happen. Bodin would send out a rescue team to find any cat that may have gone missing. Five cats were trapped beneath the snow, only three were dug out in time. Five cats were missing, three were retrieved, one suffocated but was found, and the last one was still missing.✦ 59 moons ago - Polaris would begin to settle in, creating a majority of the night rather than a day-like setting.✦ 57 moons ago - Food would begin to go missing overnight and cats would begin to worry with Polaris that they might not find enough food during those deep winter nights.✦ 56 moons ago - War sister Edda and a few companions investigate the food disappearance and discovered that cats from a neighboring clan were stealing the good.✦ 55 moons- Bodin and two war siblings would tag along to talk to the clan’s leader, would make a deal that would make both sides happy. The two clans would temporarily join forces through the Polaris to hopefully feed and maintain both clans throughout the winter.✦ 54 moons ago - The clan would get by without any more casualties as Polaris comes to an end. Both clans would go on their own ways but would agree if the other is in need of help they’d support one another.✦ 52 moons ago - Life would return to normal and the snow would begin to melt it would leave small patches of grass, but the land would still remain frozen. The small river would begin to melt, allowing cats to catch the now returning salmon as it swam upstream for spring.✦ 50 moons ago - After a week of preparation, the Summit festival would go off without a hitch, cats of all ages would join in on the festivities playing games with one another and decorating their fur and faces with paint and braids. The clan was at ease thanks to the work of their leader.✦ 48 moons ago- Bodin had finally decided to take care of and help nurture the orphaned cubs alongside the seer’s. Bodin never saw himself having a partner or children of his own due to his bad lucky with his love live. Deciding he could find joy in others who didn’t have anyone to turn to.
✦ 42 moons ago- A tragic accident would happen during that year’s Rite of Passage trials, an avalanche would fall through the mountains leaving neophytes trapped under the snow or inside the caves. Any mentors or volunteers overseeing the trail would also be caught in that matter.
✦ 42 moons- A rescue force was sent to aid with the search and rescue efforts, four cats would survive while six more were missing or found deceased. A solace was held that night for the fallen and lost.✦ 34 moons ago- A female cat by the name of Maude would go missing in the night after the avalanche in which she lost her son Fang. Maude would lose her min and would be deemed the clan’s crazy lady. Many cats tried their best to return her home if found outside the clan wondering. But sadly this time she could not be found.✦ 34 moons ago - Maude’s husband Athesis was so grief-stricken he attacked his remaining son, shouting cruel words out of anger toward the world. Bodin would step in and had the father thrown in prison for his misdeeds, but would allow him to be free when his remaining child pleaded for leniency to the council. He is now looked down by the clan for his actions and sentenced to take care of the elder’s living conditions.✦ 32 moons ago- Bodin would turn the golden age of 44 moons old and a celebration would be held to pay respects for his service to the clan.✦ 29 moons ago - Talon along with a wise one would challenge Bodin’s authority, claiming his soft nature was going to bring this clan to ruin just as the Seer long ago saw.✦ 29 moons ago - Accepting the challenges, Talon and Bodin would fight for the leadership. Talon would take victory during the battle and would soon become the next War Father.✦ 14 moons ago - Talon would replace the high ranks with all of his lackeys and banished Bodin from Svell. The clan would begin to suffer as anyone who opposed him was publicly beaten to strike fear within others. Cats had to give a larger portion and assets to Talon and were usually left hungry and on the verge of being overworked with faulty equipment.✦ 1 moon ago - Talons thirst for power would begin to grow, pillaging other clans robbing them of their food, money and left many villages to crumble from their brutal ways and some being burnt to the ground under his reign. Many cats were forced to live out in the frozen tundras as outsiders, while others had no choice but to join in the dishonorable clan of Svell in order to keep their families from starving.✦ 1 moon ago - With everything conquered, Talon would become agitated as his hunger was not satisfied until he remembered the cub tales of Ledimir and Fárbauti, with a new goal set Talon would burn down the clan of Svell with promises of conquering Fárbauti’s graves, turning that into their much stronger home for a much stronger clan. Many opposed but were beaten into submission, a she-cat named Valkyrie was a troublesome rebel who opposed his rule every step of the way no matter how many beats. Being left to die alone in the burning village with any other last opposing cats.✦ 0 moons - Talon made it to Fárbauti grave only to be stopped by Valkyrie and others, the fight between them was short the first round and Valkyrie ushered the cats back across the sound as it began to strike lighting at the ice creating pillars of ice. Talon would come back for a final battle against the she-cat, a long battle the sound claimed Talon’s body and soul in a water grave, bringing Valkyrie’s down with him.✦ 0 moons - In hopes their light hadn’t given up on them yet, cats would drive back into the cold waters and retrieve her cold body. As the clan mourned together, the she-cat would gasp for air, coming back for her second life as a chosen. Her eyes once brown now brimming blue like the ice.

Rite Of Passage

A tradition that happens every year, on the last day of winter, a full moon dusted with the color blue will climb to the highest peaks of the sky.The rite of passage is a coming-of-age trial that allows neophytes to leave their old lives and ways behind and grasp at their newfound purpose in life.To become a warrior.This tradition is a test of courage, strength, wits, endurance, and leadership.Neophytes will have to climb the highest mountain peak of High-Moon and survive alone without their mentor's help, cruel as this may sound, but vital for their survival out in this frozen world.A neophte will request a cat they look up to/idolize to adorn themselves in war paint to represent the fight they will be facing.Elders would overlook the tradition to make sure it is all going according, Elders will also stay up late creating braided cords adorned with colors to represent the neophyte's personality and heart. These braided cords will be what ties a neophyte to their home and give them the strength to continue fightingThis trial will last 5 days, there are many dangers and paths to take. No cat is forced to participate in this trial, anyone is allowed to try as many times as they would like.But to refuse this trial is to refuse your destiny.


Solace

The Solace is a silent event in which a cat has taken their last breath, the Wise ones are tasked with decorating the boat that will carry the fallen off into the waters. Seers are tasked with keeping the body preserved and gathering the materials needed for the wise ones to decorate the boat, While The spiritualist is tasked with creating incense that helps guide the soul to the afterlife. This ritual is carried out at night. The war brothers/sisters will carry the boat and lay it upon the waters. Many cats will hold torches to light the way towards the weeping hollow.The clan will be allowed to see there fallen comrade one last time, it is also custom for cats to to lay a pawful of sand beside the fallen inside the cradle-like boat once they say there goodbyes, the boat will be pushed into the water, arrows will be lit with flames and shot at the boat allowing it to burn as it carries on into the fog.As they watch the boat burn while it fades into the distance, the war mother/father will speak some pardoning words for the fallen.


Summit

The beginning of spring is a joyous day, spring doesn't come around often and when it does most of the snow and ice will melt in most places and reveal the new grass that has grown, To celebrate the day is filled with games such as Archery, tug-of-war, wrestling, crossing swords, chess, and ball. Elders will tell stories and face pain, braided cords are also included in this fun-filled day.Adults are encouraged to play with the younger generation; this day is filled with unity and fun, and can help strengthen community ties. By night, a large bonfire is set in the middle of the village, and music, dancing, and drinking will go on throughout the night till the fire burns out.


Weddings

Svell is known for its high, rich culture. Wedding tradition is demands to be held on a day between winter and spring, and the location is held at the ruins. The war mother/father must be the one to announce the two's union at the wedding for it to be official; all marriages must be officiated with and be approved of by them.When it comes to attire, the two parties uniting are required to wear heavy layers of clothing. Females traditionally wear flowing dresses adorned with flowers and a fur-lined coat, while Males wear heavy clothing as well a a fur-lined coat and bear a sword.She-cats are also allowed to bear a sword for their wedding, some may have one party carry a sword or both, entirely up to the couple.After the couple's union, cats will place a crown over the couple's heads as they pass them by to symbolize the acceptance of their new lives into the village.
Crowns are usually made of flowers, crystals, straw, wood, or other materials.
The rest of the joyous day is filled with a large feast and drinks among the villagers.


Divorces

Svell is known for there lovely weddings and how celebrated it is, but divorces are rare but do happen from time to time. Divorces are only allowed if there a reasonable grounds for one, such as the following: Affair, Abuse of any kind, mutual agreement on separation. Any other kind of reason is looked down upon; love should be treasured, and the clan understands that sometimes a cat can grow apart from another.Divorces on grounds of Abuse if founded in favor of the victim the abuser is casted out of the clan as a banished and if founded in favor of the accused, then the accuser is shunned by the clan for and labeled as a dishonored the marriage will be dissolved and the dishonored cat will have trouble marrying in the future as they will need approval from the council of wise ones.On the grounds of Affair, it is generally the same, but nobody is cast out of the clan; they are looked down upon and shamed.


Traditional Garbs

Here in Svell, there are a few specific attires that only certain ranks can wear, this is to make the individual stand out amongst the masses and be easily identifiable within the clan.A seer's/Spiritualist attire consists of bones, these individuals are the only ones allowed to wear bone-like attire, such as skulls and bones, this is cause they are considered spiritual and physical healers. Claw earrings are allowed for others to wear, but nothing that is bone is allowed to be worn by anyone but the Seer'sA War mother\father and War sister/Brother attire, for these two ranks, they wear specific types of fur pelts to show off their ranks. War Mother/Father will generally wear White fur to signify peace and Divinity, while a war Brother/Siter will wear Black fur to symbolize their rank, which signifies Loyalty and Prestige. All other clan cats can also wear fur pelts, but the colors Brown, grey, and red are only allowed.A Hearth's traditional attire consists of feathers, which are from their companion or simply found. Decorating one's fur with feathers brings Hearths great joy. Hearths will gift a feather to someone they admire or respect greatly. It is generally considered rude to turn down such a gift from them. (Fethers are not allowed the head region to respect indigenous cultures)A Chosen's traditional attire will be ice-like accessories; they can withstand very cold temperatures with ease, so finding a Chosen with ice-like accessories is fairly normal in Svell.


Character Creation

Character creations rules

1. Here at The-Sound, we try to allow as much as creative ability to flourish, but we do have to restrict or limit certain things. If your looking to add a certain unique trait to your oc please refer to our Additional info page for banned traits! if a slot is open, please feel free to ask a admin for a slot. if not then please refrain from adding anything banned, as anything without approval will not be accepted.

2. Please do not make your character with bright color palettes, no neon or unnatural color coats please.

3. Hearths must have brown or green eye colors; anything else will not be acceptable for a hearth. This rule applies to Chosen, too! Various shades of blue are the only eye color for a chosen, accompanied by a white filling within the pupils.

4. For applications, we provided two options for people to use, you may post a full body of your oc or a headshot of your oc, either option is up to you!

5. Scars are free to add! Any extremely large or life-altering injuries have to be approved by admins.

6. No designs based on Tragedies or harmful content. We also do not allow tracing/copying of any kind. If you need help making a oc, Staff and even members will be happy to assist, don't be scared to ask.

7. First time ocs will begin with 0 accessories, the only thing that's alright is braided hair with twine or braid cuffs.

8. The Max limit for oc's is 10, you get 2 free slots. After that, you have to purchase more in the shop


Written Application Rules

1. A written part of the application must be filled out!

2. Please refrain from writing histories that are too gruesome. We are an 18+ server, but we should moderate our ideas to not be disturbing for others, which also means please do not mention sexual assaults to your or other characters! You will be given a stern warning or a strike if you mention it after the fact.

3. Do not write history based on relations to any of The-Sounds NPC characters. If you'd like, you can ask to have relations to other members oc's but do not assume you can be related to anyone oc's or to non oc's without permission. There will come a time when there is a special story role for your oc to be connected to, but you must wait for that time to come.

4. Make sure to look at Ranks page for available ranks for your oc!

Jobs

How to work

Jobs are a special thing that sets your character apart from others. A max of 2 jobs can be claimed for any cat who has completed their rite of passage trials. Jobs aren't required, but it is a must if you'd like to gain Silver Coinage to spend in the shops. The way it works is that you will gain a certain amount of Silver for every RP response you make. You can gain silver for solo RP's or group RPs that are based around your character at work.After each reply, make sure to use /Roll 1d100 in #dice-roll channel to see your success rate; you can roll before or after you post.rolls between 0-49 and under will gain 2 Silvers
While rolls between 50-100 will gain 5 Silvers
Make sure to submit the finished RP to an admin so they may add the overall gained currency to your Wallet.

War Mother/Father

These are the leaders/Chiefs of the clan, their word is law, and all must respect that. Generally, they can be either Hearth or Chosen, rank doesn't matter as long as the leader is strong and a respected figure to their people. They can overrule any decision of the council as long as it's within reason. A War Mother/Father must pick a successor to take their place when the time comes; they may choose when and who, but failure to do so will result in the Third War Brother/Sister to take the throne. It is customary to bow your head before speaking to them.

War Brother/Sister

consists of three cats who are hand-picked by the leader to aid them in managing clan affairs. These three cats have different roles to play in the clan and are bound to their duties. The First cat must be a Hearth, they are tasked with guiding and helping out the hearths in the clan, and will speak on behalf of them during meetings, the Second must be a chosen and do the same for the chosen cats in the clan. These split tasks make it easier for cats to understand each other and to identify possible differences between the two types. The third is tasked with guarding the War Mother/Father at all times with their life. If the Chief were to pass without picking a successor, then the Third War Brother/Sister will be the next leader. It is customary to call them Brother or sister if you are the same age or younger than them.

Seer

Cats who are chosen but granted different abilities than most chosen, their Ice magic is used for healing. Ideally, these cats will host burials as it’s their job to guide a fallen member home after death to the land of the ancestors.Seers are also known to live within the heart alongside Spiritualist, But do not live within the deeper chambers, as that is for only spiritualist and those permitted by them.Seers are healers of any physical ailments, they are gatherers of medicinal medicine, and scholars in writing their findings. These are highly looked upon cats, and many will come to them for advice and aid.There is a limit of 3 seers, a singular Neophyte is tasted in training among the seer's. Once a seer passes, the neophyte will officially become a Seer. so till one of their peers passes, the Neophyte will stay as an apprentice regardless of age.

Spiritualist

A spiritualist's Neophyte is picked by the clan or themselves; they are selected by Ledimir and will guide the spiritualist to them. Unlike seers, they are not chosen cats, so they don't wield the power of ice.Spiritualists live in an area filled with magical energy known as the heart which clans will be built around, they are known to be recluse who stay inside there domain and will rarely see others. There jobs is to read omens, prophecy, or fates on bones/visions/ or whispers from the spirits.They will also be the voice of Ledimir when he comes to point them in the right direction during the journey.To be a spiritualist is to live a life of peering eyes filled with judgment and whispers under the breaths of those around you, as they cannot see the world you see and cannot hear what you hear.

Chosen

Cats granted special Ice magic abilities, used as the main fighters of the war, and lead the front lines in battle. These cats are much more durable to the cold and can survive longer on their own. A chosen can be born, but also can gain their abilities anytime throughout their life.Once a cat becomes chosen, their eyes will be any shade of blue with a white pupil and a black ring surrounding its pupil.Chosen-born cubs will be solid cold to the touch and will not be breathing once born, but will take their first breath of cold air after a moment.

Hearth

Hearth possessses no Ice magic-like abilities like chosen do, but they have skills that make up for their lack of magic. Hearth cats are physically very powerful, some hearth cats can perform incredible acts of strength with little to no visible strain, even enjoying long-lasting stamina.Hearths are known for also having great coordination and balance.Hearths are typically known to have any shade of brown or green eyes.

Wise ones

Wise ones are elder cats who have retired from the fight, they are well taken care of, and commonly are known to teach Neophytes about the history of their clan and the stories passed down by the ancestors.Their job is to keep traditions alive and voice their concerns when a council is called upon by the leader.

Barren

Are cats who are carrying kits, Barren is very protected in the clan and well took care of. They must be fed first like the elders and made sure they are comfortable and overall healthy.

Neophyte

Cubs who have come of age to start earning their share. A neophyte will be put with a mentor who fits their needs and skills. If a Neophyte is a Hearth, they will be placed with a Hearth Mentor, and the same with Chosen, they will be placed with a hand picked mentor.

Cubs

Cubs who are only a couple moons old, they generally stay with their mother till they are Neophytes. Cubs and barren will live inside of HelgaFell with the seer's till they are 1 moon old, after that they will be permitted to live with the barren inside their residential home among the other barren and wise ones.


Refugees

Refugees are cats who no longer have a Clan to call home or have never had a clan to call one, they are wondering cats who live off the land on there own. Most Refugees are kind souls while others can be rotten apples. It is a un-spoken rule for Svell cats to lend them food out of pity.

Dishonored

Dishonored are cats who have been exiled from their clan, these cats are to be looked down upon and loathed. They usually live in the mountains away from many prying eyes and are chased out Svell's territory if spotted.
